1. General provisions

Dimension Science is an amateur, non-commercial project for users and participants of different projects, events, tournaments, and experiments. The website and related features are provided “as is”. Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Dimension Science is not responsible for third-party services or users.

The data operator is a private individual who administers Dimension Science in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Contact: [email protected].

Document version: 1.0. Effective date: 22 July 2026.

2. Scope

This policy applies to dimensionscience.net, registration and application forms, the administration panel, and applications transferred to the website through the Dimension Science Discord bot.

3. Data we process

We process only information voluntarily submitted for participation or contact. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • email and contact methods supplied by the user;
  • Minecraft, Discord, and other platform nicknames;
  • Discord ID and account name for bot applications;
  • time zone, gameplay experience, motivation, links, and free-text answers;
  • the selected project, application status, team decision, and internal notes;
  • submission date, time, language, consent version, and technical submission identifier;
  • a shortened technical connection identifier used to protect forms against mass submissions.

Do not submit another person's data or information that is not needed to review the application.

4. Purposes

Data is used only to receive and review applications, contact applicants, organise participation, add approved Minecraft nicknames to a whitelist, issue required roles, protect forms against abuse, diagnose technical faults, and audit staff actions.

5. Access and hosting

Access is limited to Dimension Science administrators and staff who need it to review an application or run the relevant event. Hosting and external platforms may process data where they are used to submit an application or deliver a message.

The main website server is hosted in a data centre in Finland, so technical processing and storage may occur outside the Republic of Uzbekistan.

6. Retention

Registration data is retained while the relevant tournament, event, or experiment is running and deleted no later than 90 calendar days after its official end. Backup copies are removed through the regular backup cycle no later than a further 30 calendar days.

Minimal technical records may be retained longer when needed for security, abuse investigation, or a mandatory legal requirement.

7. Publication

Submitting an application does not authorise publication of email addresses, private answers, or contact details. A public nickname, participation result, stream recording, and event materials may be used only within the event and its public archive under the Application terms.

8. User requests

To request access, correction, withdrawal of consent, or deletion, email [email protected] and identify the project, nickname, and contact method used in the application. We may ask for confirmation that the request concerns your application.

Deleting an application may make further participation impossible. Published event results may remain in the public archive when they do not contain private contact details.

9. Changes

The current version is always published on this page. A new version applies to new applications when published. Fresh consent will be requested separately if it is required for an existing application.
